Terms of use

Last updated 7 October 2026 · For the Sivio iPhone app

The short version

1. Apple’s licence and these terms

Sivio is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add rules specific to Sivio. By using Sivio you agree to both. If they conflict about the licence itself, the Standard EULA wins.

Sivio is provided by Ozgur Ozbek, an individual developer in the United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.

2. What Sivio does

Sivio keeps a record of your work, reads job ads against it, and drafts a tailored CV and cover letter for each ad using AI (Anthropic’s Claude). Code on your iPhone checks each AI-written line against your record and rejects lines it can’t trace to one of your facts. Sivio also keeps a list of your applications.

Sivio never applies for you. You choose what to send, and you send it yourself.

3. You’re responsible for what you send

4. No promises about results

5. Your content

Your record, your CVs and letters, and the files you make are yours. You let us process the text you choose to send only to provide Sivio to you, as the privacy policy describes. Only add content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful. Job ads belong to whoever wrote them; Sivio uses them only to tailor your documents.

6. Free features, plans and payment

7. Using Sivio fairly

Please don’t:

If someone does, we may stop their access to the features that use our server.

8. Availability and changes

Reading and writing need an internet connection, our server and Anthropic’s service, so they may sometimes be unavailable. Your record, the tracker and your general CV work without them. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever close the service, we’ll say so in the app in advance, and your record stays on your iPhone, ready to download.

9. Our responsibility to you

The Standard EULA sets out the warranty and the limits of liability for the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live, or any liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited. We aren’t responsible for decisions that employers or others make about your applications.

10. Stopping

You can stop using Sivio at any time. Settings › Erase everything removes your data from your iPhone (and from iCloud if sync is on); cancel any subscription through Apple as described above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies.
