Last updated 7 October 2026 · For the Sivio iPhone app
The short version
Apple’s standard licence covers the app. These terms add a few rules specific to Sivio.
Sivio helps you write CVs and cover letters from your own facts. You decide what to send, and you’re responsible for it being true.
No app can promise interviews or jobs, and Sivio doesn’t.
Apple handles payment, renewals, cancelling and refunds.
1. Apple’s licence and these terms
Sivio is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add rules specific to Sivio. By using Sivio you agree to both. If they conflict about the licence itself, the Standard EULA wins.
Sivio is provided by Ozgur Ozbek, an individual developer in the United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
2. What Sivio does
Sivio keeps a record of your work, reads job ads against it, and drafts a tailored CV and cover letter for each ad using AI (Anthropic’s Claude). Code on your iPhone checks each AI-written line against your record and rejects lines it can’t trace to one of your facts. Sivio also keeps a list of your applications.
Sivio never applies for you. You choose what to send, and you send it yourself.
3. You’re responsible for what you send
You are responsible for the accuracy of your record and of everything you send, share or submit using Sivio.
The truth lock compares what the AI writes with your record. It can’t tell whether your record is true, and like any automated check it can miss things. Read every line, letter and file before you send it.
AI can make mistakes, including in names, dates, spelling and tone. Correct anything that’s wrong before you send it.
Don’t use Sivio to mislead an employer, or to make a CV or letter for someone else without their permission.
4. No promises about results
We don’t promise that you’ll get replies, interviews or job offers.
We don’t promise that any employer, recruiter, job board, application portal or applicant tracking system (ATS) will accept, read, rank or pass your CV or letter. Sivio doesn’t claim to “beat” any screening system.
Sivio’s list of an ad’s must-haves, and its questions about the ad, are its reading of the ad. The employer decides what really counts.
5. Your content
Your record, your CVs and letters, and the files you make are yours. You let us process the text you choose to send only to provide Sivio to you, as the privacy policy describes. Only add content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful. Job ads belong to whoever wrote them; Sivio uses them only to tailor your documents.
6. Free features, plans and payment
Free, always: your record, the application tracker, your general CV as a PDF, and reading your first 3 job ads against your record.
Free week: the introductory offer of the 1-month plan, once per Apple ID. You can make 5 tailored CVs or cover letters and see them; exporting and sending start when the plan does. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the week ends, the 1-month plan starts and Apple charges its price.
1 month: 12 tailored CVs or cover letters a month. 3 months: 48 every 3 months. Both include exporting and sending.
A tailored CV or a cover letter for one job ad counts once, with two rewrites of it included; a further rewrite counts again. Unused ones don’t carry over to the next period. What you’ve made stays in the app.
Subscriptions are bought from Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. They renew automatically until you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel them in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in Sivio’s Settings › Manage or cancel. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.
Refunds are decided by Apple: see Apple’s page Request a refund.
If a price changes, Apple tells you before it applies to your subscription.
To keep Sivio available to everyone, there are daily limits on free CV readings and line fixes, and on AI use across the whole service. If you reach one, the app tells you; you can try again the next day.
7. Using Sivio fairly
Please don’t:
try to get around the plan limits, the daily limits, App Attest or the purchase checks;
reach our server other than through the app, or overload it;
use Sivio to harass or discriminate against anyone, or to break the law.
If someone does, we may stop their access to the features that use our server.
8. Availability and changes
Reading and writing need an internet connection, our server and Anthropic’s service, so they may sometimes be unavailable. Your record, the tracker and your general CV work without them. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever close the service, we’ll say so in the app in advance, and your record stays on your iPhone, ready to download.
9. Our responsibility to you
The Standard EULA sets out the warranty and the limits of liability for the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live, or any liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited. We aren’t responsible for decisions that employers or others make about your applications.
10. Stopping
You can stop using Sivio at any time. Settings › Erase everything removes your data from your iPhone (and from iCloud if sync is on); cancel any subscription through Apple as described above.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies.
